Is there a way to make the FiveM satellite pack work with the GPS when you’re in the car? I randomly see it trying to load itself while i’m driving but it never fully does and returns to being the default black and grey gps while the pause map works perfectly.
Hi, thanks for your maps, im using it in fivem client-side, but i need the mini-map shows the same as the big map, how can i do it? i always see the vanilla mini-map. Thanks
The pause menu map will not work in the gps sat nav. I did look in to this at one point but it would take way to much time to do, Also not sure if its possible. The GPS map is built totaly diffrent to the pause menu map they are not same.
But feel free to convert and experiment with mods as you see fit.

Thank you for the response, I primarily asked because even til today I still see the pause menu HD map randomly half loading onto my cars mini gps when driving at high speeds through the city and it triggered my curiosity into it.
I am sure It would be compatible as it works for single player with OpenIV.
I have No exsperence with Ragemp though, and at the moment I do not have GTAV installed to check this out for you.
If you get it working (If you like) Let us know the info and ill make a post about it, to help others maybe needing the same.

Not to sure what you are asking, But you can use the map tiles from da DLK mods if you like mate.
Just download’em an use OpenIV to get the Tile images.

I have fixed the Problem with the zooming in.
IMPORTANT: When you are playing in Singleplayer, put the mapzoomdata.meta into the “common-sp\data\ui” folder, not the “common\data\ui” folder!

whenever I zoom into the map, it resets back to the normal map.
I have put the mapzoomdata.meta into the folder where it is supposed to be (\citizen\common\data\ui), but it still doesn’t work.
I am having trouble getting a map mod, I have downloaded the DLK HD Atlas Map For FiveM and put the citizen file into the fivem data and the map is still the same, Do I need to do something in gtav or have I done something wrong.
I used the video to help me know how to download the map and where to put it. This is why I am asking for help
All that has to be done is copying the files over, There is nothing in GTAV that needs doing.
You could try copy the files over individually, This video may help with that although its not English You will see what files need to go where.

I am running a FiveM Server (linux based)
Is it possible to install the FiveM maps server side so that it downloads to the client upon connection like other resources currently do?
The only folder i’m seeing server side that comes close to the folder described in the instructions is under
~/fivem/server/alpine/opt/cfx-server/citizen
It was possible to install the FiveM maps server side, But there was no way for the client to get the Meta file. Ive not looked for a long time this may or may not of changed now.

Do you have a .svg version of the atlas map you’ve made that you can share with me (preferably with each terrain as its own layer)? I’m actually looking at altering it to match the UV reactive one Rockstar released and laser-engraving the map on a 32″ x 18″ piece of wood and hanging it in my room; I can share the altered file once I’m done and if you’re in Seattle, give you one of those on the house 🙂
Hey I’m wanting to make my own custom colour areas for patrol zones on a five m server that i do not own. I dowloaded the five m version and used photoshop to edit the dds files and exported the same with sam mip maps however the edited one that i did doesn’t show up in five m even knowi edited them and in the ytd ican see my edited version. Your one shows up fine. Justs to test i scribbled on it in photoshop and backed it up however the scribble wasnt on fivem . How would i be able to test it so i can send it to the owner to add it?
Just join a random empty server to test, map files should be all client-side unless its been changed recently!
I’d recommend exporting and importing using http://openiv.com/ OpenIV converts files to dds and export dds files to jpeg, png ect.
So there is no need to edit Mip Maps using that method.

Unzip the Download Files
Drag the citizen folder to the [ FiveM Application Data ]
To find the FiveM Application Data folder do a computer search, On windows in the bottom left corner use the search tool search for,

Drag and drop the downloaded citizen folder to the FiveM Application Data folder.
If you cant find the Fivem install, Go to https://fivem.net
Download the FiveM client, FiveM must be installed first.
